Water Puppet Show

Several nights ago Emily and I went to the water puppet theather. Another Holt dad and her daughter decided to go and asked us if we would like to join them. This is one of the things I was hoping while we were in Hanoi so I was very excited that they asked us to go. We bought the last three tickets. They told us it was ok to have one of the girls sit on our laps.

We really enjoyed the show. We did not understand the story line but was fun to see the puppets and hear the traditional Vietnamize music. This is a very old form of entertainment in Vietnam. The shows often sell out becuase it is such a popular attraction. It is trully hard to describe and the pictures do not do it justice but it was certainly something to see.
